Fender Vintera '70s Telecaster Deluxe

Fender Vintera ‘70s Telecaster Deluxe, 2022, SN: MX22297278

This is a Fender Vintera ‘70s Telecaster Deluxe Hardtail made in Mexico in 2022. It is a recreation of a mid-1970’s Tele Deluxe with a three bolt neck, Seth Lover designed Wide-Range pickups, a maple neck with a maple fingerboard and an alder body with a gloss polyester Mocha finish weighing in at 8.6 lbs. It has the large ‘70s headstock, a bullet headstock mounted truss rod adjustment and vintage style “F” stamped tuners. There are black dot markers at the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, twelfth, fifteenth, seventeenth, and nineteenth frets, with a total of 21 medium jumbo frets.  The neck is finished in natural gloss urethane. The neck profile is a thin “C” carve, the scale length is 25 ½” with a 9 ½” fingerboard radius and a 1.65” nut width. The bridge is a six saddle vintage Strat style hardtail with stamped saddles. 

The Wide-Range pickups are stamped with the Fender logo. Fender recently reformulated the Wide-Range pickups to sound more like the iconic vintage examples. These certainly sound great, very clear with lots of dynamic range. There are volume and tone controls for each pickup and a three way selector to choose either or both. The electronics are mounted on a three-ply black-white-black pickguard, making for a very nice vintage look.
