1954 Gibson CF-100 Sunburst

Introduced in 1950, the CF-100 was part of Gibson's "Country and Western" series, which aimed to cater to the growing popularity of country and folk music. The CF-100 was designed to be a more affordable alternative to Gibson's higher-end acoustic guitars while still offering a quality instrument.

This 1953 Example has spent its entire 70 years with a single owner.   It shows signs of playwear and use typical of an instrument of its age.   All original with the exception of the tuners, which were replaced with 60's era waffle-backs.
