If your instrument is in need of cleaning for the necessary work to be completed, you will be charged. - Guitar & Bass Setup
A full setup is essential for getting the best sound and playability from your instrument. We'll adjust the truss rod and string height and intonation, ensuring your instrument plays smoothly and stays in tune. Our Set Up service includes a complete evaluation of your instruments overall condition and performance.

Over time, frets wear down and necks can warp or twist. We offer fret leveling, crowning and dressing to restore smoothness and eliminate buzzing. Our neck repair service includes everything from straightening warped necks to replacing truss rods and ensuring optimal action and comfort.

From faulty pickups to wiring issues, we can diagnose and repair any electrical problem with your instrument. We also offer custom wiring setups, pickup upgrades and the installation of new components such as switches and jacks.

The bridge and nut are crucial to your instruments sound and playability. Our techs will determine if a damaged bridge, saddle or nut should be repaired or replaced to restore tonal clarity and string stability.

Accidents happen and sometimes instruments suffer cracks, splits or broken headstocks. Our technicians, who are also passionate craftsmen, are highly skilled in repairing cracks, loose braces and more.

PLEK: The Art of the Fingerboard
The PLEK machine is a state of the art lutherie tool allowing for optimal guitar setup. With the ability to scan frets and identify high and low spots, the PLEK can completely level and radius frets and fingerboards as well as cut nut slots and saddles. Having your frets and fingerboard PLEK’d can bring any instrument to the next level. We are proud to offer the only PLEK service in the Northeast.

Fingerboard Planing
After scanning the fingerboard for high and low spots, the PLEK will plane the fingerboard, taking into account your compound radius specs, and creating individual fretboard relief under each string.

Fret Leveling
The PLEK scans the guitar under string tension to provide precise information about fret heights, string action, fingerboard relief and differences in fret radius. It then perfectly levels and radiuses the frets to achieve optimal playability and eliminate fret buzz.

Nut & Saddle Cutting
Both the nut and saddle can be cut down to a desired string action. The PLEK machine produces various representations of its scan of the instrument that are accurate down to about a thousandth of an inch.
