This is a Circle Strings Guatemalan Rosewood Dreadnought. The top is Italian Spruce, the back and sides are Guatemalan Rosewood, the neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard and belly bridge are Ebony. The scale length is 25.4,” the nut width is 1 ¾” and the string spacing at the bridge is 2 ¼.” The headplate is Ebony with a single line of white purfling around the perimeter and the Circle Strings logo inlaid in mother of pearl. Open back Schaller tuners with Ivoroid buttons are installed. 

The neck is joined to the body at the fourteenth fret. The profile is a soft “V,” with a neck depth at the first fret 0.850” and 0.975” at the ninth fret. The fingerboard has a radius of 16” with dot markers at the fifth, seventh, ninth, twelfth and fifteenth frets. There are a total of 21 frets. The top and back are bound in figured maple with ebony and boxwood purfling in a black-white pattern flanking herringbone. The soundhole rosette is similarly herringbone flanked with black-white binding. The sides, both front and back, have finely executed four ply white-black-white black boxwood and ebony purfling while the back is two ply using the same materials. The back center strip is a traditional zipper backstrip.
