The Plague by Smells & Sounds

'The Plague' is the flagship pedal designed by Smells & Sounds. It is a RAT style distortion pedal with a wide variety of tonal possibilities. Tuned to the tastes of bassist Zach Flanigan and front woman Amber Lawson of the band PINKLIDS, its sonic capabilities range from responsive and subtle overdrive to squealing, noise laden fuzzy madness.

Knob Controls (from left to right):
VOLUME - Sets the output level of the circuit.

TONE - Single pole low pass filter to roll off high frequencies.

DIODE SELECT - Choose from LED, silicon, or Schottky clipping diodes, each with different forward voltages and tonal characteristics.

GAIN - Sets the gain of the operational amplifier to change the amount of distortion.

BYPASS - Switch between clean and distorted signal.

BOOST - Increases gain and mid frequencies for a clear and driving tone.
