Payment to Consignor

Once the consigned item has been sold and shipped, we will process a check to the consignor approximately 2 weeks after the sold/ship date, as offer we have a 14 day return window.

Intake, Evaluation & Processing

All consigned items must be in sellable condition. Items exhibiting wear, damage, or functional issues that affect resale value may require repairs, which shall be performed at the Consignor's expense. Any repairs or adjustments conducted by the Consignee (e.g., $120 setup/restring, $45 electronics cleaning) shall be deducted from the final sale proceeds.

The Consignee is not obligated to perform repairs and reserves the right to reject items that do not meet the minimum resale standards.

The Consignee agrees to list and display the consigned item(s) for sale within fourteen (14) business days from the date of receipt, provided the items are in sellable condition and do not require repair or setup.

If repairs or adjustments are required, the item(s) will enter the repair queue and be processed in the order in which they are received. The listing period will commence only after necessary repairs are completed.

Consigned items may be displayed in-store and/or listed on online platforms at the Consignee’s discretion. Listings on third-party platforms such as Reverb may include price adjustments to reflect associated fees, which are the responsibility of the Consignor. These adjustments do not affect the agreed-upon "Low Asking Price" that the Consignor will net before deductions.

The Consignee reserves the right to determine how and where the item is marketed and to adjust listing titles, descriptions, or pricing presentation (without altering the agreed net price) in order to optimize marketability and sales performance.

The Consignee agrees not to sell any consigned item below the mutually agreed “Low Asking Price” without prior written or verbal consent from the Consignor. The Low Asking Price is defined as the minimum net amount the Consignor will receive prior to deduction of commissions, platform fees, payment processing fees, and shipping overages.

Should the Consignee receive a reasonable offer below this threshold, the Consignee will promptly notify the Consignor, who reserves the right to accept or reject such offer.

If, in the Consignee’s professional judgment, the Low Asking Price is not in line with the fair market value, the Consignee reserves the right to reject the item or terminate this agreement.

Timeline

The minimum consignment period is 6 months. Early termination of the consignment will result in a $150 per item de-listing fee for stringed instruments and $50 per item de-listing fee for amps and accessories to cover photography, advertising and processing.

Shipping

The Consignor is solely responsible for the shipment and safe arrival of consigned items. The Consignee assumes no liability for damage incurred during transit. Any shipping-related damage and associated repair costs are the responsibility of the Consignor. The Consignee recommends that the Consignor fully insure items during shipment.

Service & Repair

Before scheduling your appointment, please know that our evaluation process begins with a thorough inspection of your instrument to identify any issues or needed repairs.
