Payment to Consignor

Once the consigned item has been sold and shipped, we will process a check to the consignor approximately 2 weeks after the sold/ship date, as offer we have a 14 day return window.

Intake, Evaluation & Processing

Items must be in sellable condition. Any damage or wear that affects the value of the consigned item shall be repaired at the consignors expense. Repairs or adjustments to the item(s) performed by Circle Strings Guitar Shop will be deducted from the final sale price of the item (e.g. $120 setup/restring, $45 electronics cleaning, etc).

Items will be photographed and displayed on the sales floor, as well as listed on our online sales platforms, within 2 weeks. Items that require repair or setup will enter our repair queue and dealt with in the order in which they are received. Items posted to Reverb will reflect a higher listing price to account for processing fees, which the seller is responsible for.

The consignee (Circle Strings Guitar Shop) will only sell items at or above the agreed upon "low asking" price. The consignee shall not sell any consignors item below "low asking" price without receiving verbal or written consent from the consignor. Circle Strings Guitar Shop will notify the consignor of any reasonable offer on the consigned item, however the consignor is under no obligation to accept any offer below the "low asking" price, which is determined as the lowest NET dollar amount before commissions, payment fees, online platform seller fees and shipping overages.

If consignors asking price is unreasonable or higher than the assessed value of the item, we may elect to void the existing consignment contract.

Items shipped to us for consignment are the responsibility of the consignor and shipping agency. We are not responsible for any damage incurred during inbound shipping. Any resulting repairs from damage incurred in inbound shipping are the responsibility of the consignor.

Timeline

The minimum consignment period is 6 months. Early termination of the consignment will result in a $150 per item de-listing fee for stringed instruments and $50 per item de-listing fee for amps and accessories to cover photography, advertising and processing.
