2007 Collings D-42 A Brazilian Rosewood

This Collings D-42 is a masterfully built dreadnought featuring an Adirondack spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Appointments include a 42-style abalone top border, abalone rosette, torch peghead inlay, 45-style snowflake fingerboard inlays, and grained ivoroid binding on both the peghead and fingerboard. It’s equipped with gold Waverly tuners, ivoroid bridge pins with abalone dots, and a 3-style backstrip, all contributing to its vintage-inspired aesthetic. The guitar has a 1 3/4" nut width and plays effortlessly with rich, balanced tone. A small crack was professionally repaired in-house at Circle Strings, and the guitar is otherwise in flawless condition.
