KoAloha Concert Ukulele, Made in Hawaii January 2010.
This KoAloha Concert Ukulele was made in Hawaii in 2010. The body is made from solid Koa, the neck is Honduran mahogany with an Indian rosewood fretboard and bridge. The headstock bears the carved KoAloha crown logo and four friction tuners with pink pearloid buttons. The neck has a “C” shaped profile and is joined to the body at the thirteenth fret, with dot markers at the fifth, seventh, tenth and twelfth frets. There are seventeen frets total. The body is 8” wide at the lower bout and 5 ⅝” at the upper bout with a body depth of 2 5/16.” The nut is 1 7/16” and the string spacing at the bridge is 1 ½.”
The instrument is very clean cosmetically with just a few light strum marks on the top upper bout. It is set up beautifully, plays easily and sounds great.
