Vintage 1966 Gibson Hummingbird w/ original case

This is a fantastic playing and sounding example of a mid-60's Hummingbird. It has all the signs of wear and age you might expect from a 60 year old instrument including finish checking, pick wear, and a top crack that has been repaired some years ago and is still holding up and stable. It is priced accordingly making this a great choice for a serious player in search of vintage Gibson vibe and tone!

Features a dry, woody tone that vintage Gibsons are so well known for. Great for recording, these are known for sitting "in the mix" well, adding a nice rhythmic quality without getting in the way of the vocals or other instruments.  

Has a 1 9/16" nut typical for mid to late 60's Gibsons.  The neck profile is on the slim side of medium and is very comfortable to get around on. 

Comes with the original hard shell case.  The case has the red plush interior more commonly found with later 60's and early 70's Gibsons, It was purchased from the son of the original owner who said it was the only case the guitar ever had.
